Island coverage

Can anyone tell me if Sprint PCS will cover San Juan, PR, St Thomas, VI,
Dominican Republic and Nassau? My gut instinct says no, but I have to ask.

I think you're out of luck for the Dominican Republic and Nassau. But
the Virgin Islands (the U.S. ones, that is, not the British) and Puerto
Rico are covered -- they are U.S. territories. And you can check for
yourself: go to sprintpcs.com and look it up under "View service plans &
coverage areas".

Having just returned from Puerto Rico, I can tell you that coverage is good
in San Juan, Ponce, Mayaguez and Cayey and spotty to good along most of the
coast.

These are the licensed areas. US VI and PR are in it.
These aren't covered areas, just licenses.

Yes all those counties are listed with Sprint. The US Virgin Islands are
in Sprints network so you wont get a roaming charge. On the other hand
the other contries like San juan, Dominican Republic and Nussau are
international roaming. There you have to call Internatinal Sprint
roaming Customer Care if you plan to go to that county they will ask you
to put some codes in your phone, in order to receive calls and send
calls. There is a per minute charge and a long distance charge if you
need more info on how much per minutes ask away.

Not quite accurate. San Juan is the capital of Puerto Rico, which is
also a U.S. territory and there are no roaming charges with Sprint PCS.
I know because I live there.

Ten Frame is correct. My parents live in Puerto Rico and they have
SPCS. Also, every time I visit, I can use my stateside-based SPCS as
seemlessly as if I were in my hometown. If you have any doubts, check
