    Hello--

I've been having problems with my Hitachi P300 for a while now
    (http://www.phonescoop.com/news_group...g=15&id=651043) and
have decided that my only refuge will be to take the handset to a Sprint
    store.

I've read that "Sprint Corporate Stores" are the best stores to deal
with. Nonetheless, can anyone make some suggestions as to which good
Sprint stores in the San Francisco Bay Area I can take my phone to?

The perfect resolution to my problem would be to have my Hitachi P300
swapped out for a new Sanyo 8100/5300 or a new Hitachi P300.

I've delt with Sprint stores in the past, and I've had the worst
experiences (at the Walnut Creek location) when I was having my
Touchpoint 1100 repaired. I had it replaced twice (with refurbs), but
    none of them ever worked.

What is my best strategy in getting a new phone, not a refurb?
Where--mind you, a respectable Sprint store--can I take my phone?

    Thanks,

    Christof

I've had pretty good luck at the SF 388 Market St. store. It's right at
the Embarcadero BART station. Sometimes they don't have the replacement
phone in stock, but can have it mailed to you. Ditto the SF - Van Ness
Ave. store. I have less experience there, but they're open Sunday
    (Market St. isn't).

The Rockridge store is an "express" store - no testing or repair.
I've heard bad things about Emeryville.

The Greenbrae one is all right...just make sure you've call customer
services and gotten the oakie-doakie from them to swap it out.
