Hello all: Background - Happy Sprint customer for two years (just
renewed a third). Had an a400 and loved it. It broke, so I used my
Circuit City protection plan to get an n400. I am unhappy with its
battery life and signal strength (should have researched more before
buying)
What I'd like to ask of all of you is:
Does someone make a phone for Sprint that is a small flip with
speakerphone, external caller id, good reception similar menu
navigation/ease of use and at least average battery life?
Does anyone have any insight into how the CC protection plan works now
that CC does not carry Sprint anymore? I have been told by one CC
employee that I would receive in-store credit while another told me
that I could receive a refund for my phone and unused portion of my
plan. Thanks in advance -- B

Check your N400 software version. I have two N400's and am happier now
that they have been flashed. It isn't my fav phone (i am still partial
to the REALLY old dbTP) though. However it is a very decent phone and
seems to hold my marginal signal fairly well. Don't judge these things
so hastily. The 8100 might suit you better.
Can't answer the rest.

Thanks for the reply. I assume you mean the Sanyo 8100. I just checked
it out, looks great except no speaker phone.
Also, maybe I should clarify. The n400 has been good so far, but I
feel that some day it is going to fail when I need it most.

You shouldn't make a decision based on fear without it being real.

FUD is good way for consumer to live, it makes the companies more money.
</sarcasm> Use your N400 and enjoy it, if you have problems with it then
you make a decision at that point.
