Been trying since the 16th to speak to a Federal agency sales rep.
Old rep's phone # changed, does not answer her e-mail.
Called the new accounts sales number,
who referred me to a local number,
which was answered by voice mail.
Last time we spoke to a general sales rep, got burned with misinformation.
So, anyone have a phone number for an SPCS sales rep who knows federal
account plans?

Tha number refers me to the local number, which transfers to the voice mail
of an out-of-town staffer.... see above.
They do everything but put the plans in a locked file cabinet in a disused
lavatory in the basement, with a sign saying "BEWARE OF THE LEOPARD" upon
the door.

I just called the Business # and asked for the federal employee discount.
They gave me a 5% discount. How do I get 10%?

It no longer exists. It stays on those who already have it, but the
only available "Federal Government Employee" discount is 5% for newly
qualified employees.

I should have posted this to you. You don't. 5% is *the* federal
employee discount now.
And every federal agency that has individual agreements with us only
negotiate for a deeper discount on Agency-paid subscriptions. The
employee-paid ones are still 5%. At least, that's the case with ever
federal agency I've encountered up to now.
