Sprint PCS says that they changed their billing system this month, and
so some people got two bills. They're not duplicate bills -- they're
prorated.
However, look at them closely. I found that they charged me the full
monthly surcharges on BOTH bills. The customer service fellow I talked
to seemed unconcerned about the potential class action suit
possibilities of this sort of thing, unless Sprint PCS becomes proactive
about fixing it.
The guy offered me 100 minutes for my troubles. I pointed out that I
regularly have over 100 minutes left at the end of each month, so he
offered me $5 (I have three lines).
Anyway, check your bills!

If this is true, subtract more points from Sprint POS CS. Do they have
any left?

My bill was accurate, for two lines, and with changes in plan on both.

I don't need no stinking bills, I use Virgin mobile.
If it weren't for pay as you go phones I wouldn't own a cell phone. Like I
need another bill every month....

But you pay 25 cents per minute and we pay 5 cents per minute peak time.

Yeah, my first ATTWS bill was $40. Looked good to me.

Re: Watch your bill this month!
I don't think it was related to new billing method. However I was billed
for "ROAMING" on one of our four phones. We have unlimited roaming (not
to excede half the usage). They gave me credit for the overcharge,
cheerfully. AT&T would have required three calls to do the samer
thing.
Anyway the down side is that my usage will not show up until the
beginning of the new billing period. AT&T only offers this service
only to people with bad credit.
