ARGGHHH!! This is bad because I don't really have a lot of money to
blow. My Visor Prism's mic just went out. I call people, they can't
hear me at all but I can hear them. I tried taking apart the phone and
checking the wires to the mic and the connection and cleaning off some
dust, still no luck. No great event happened before it stopped working
(a.i. I didn't drop it or swim with it) so I don't know what caused
it. The phone has been banged up for awhile and I wouldn't mind
getting another phone, but I don't want to lose any features I got
with this one. I love the idea of having Palm OS built into a phone
and I want to get another phone like this with sprint but I don't want
to pay $200-$600 for this. I've been looking at the Treo 600 and I
just discovered that it's still the same crappy resolution as the Treo
300 and Visor Prism? BLEH! I thought it was going to have Palm OS 5...
well not sure what to do now. Any recommendations would be great. I
don't mind buying a used phone, I just want to have the features.

By the way, I don't care about having a camera! If i want to take a
picture, I'll use my little 2 megapixel camera and not take one with
my phone that has like 1/4 megapixel which is basically only good for
viewing pictures on the phone itself!

One of my options is to buy a Visor Prism from eBay and use that with
the digital link I already have and save the hassle of switching
phones. But I can hear the Treo 600 calling to me! Too bad it doesn't
have a better screen or Palm OS system and that it costs $600 :-P

The Treo 600 uses Palm OS 5.2. I suspect there will eventually be a 320x320
version but the tradeoff is battery life. And I can't help with the money
    issue!

Starting tomarrow if you have had the phone for 18 monthes you would
qualify for rebates (same as new cust).

    Ebay is another option.
