Much koodos to anyone who can help!
I have been given a baseband CDMA2000 waveform that has NOT been
band-limited. The data is at 1X sampling rate. Before I can
demodulate this data I need to band limit the spectrum using the filter
described in the spec sheet at 3gpp2.com. Here's what I do:
I upsample (by zero-padding) my data to 4X and apply the 48-tap
baseband filter described in the C-S0002 D document. I then run this
signal through some Agilent software that demodulated signals
(specifically 89600 VSA software) and I get an EVm of 19%. What could
be doing wrong? I apply the phase equilization filter as well and it
just gets worse. What could I be missing?
