How the heck can you possibly do that?! Even if the phone supports the
feature, I can't really type on the key pad while holding the phone to my
head to talk to somebody. I wouldn't even be able to concentrate on what I'm
saying enough to handle this. You're a better juggler than me.

    Or he's using a headset.

    That's why god invented headsets.

Some of us can type and talk at the same time. I picked up the skill
when I was working in a call center, but it's not that hard for anybody
    to learn.

Re: Voicemail message is getting lost

You'll like this: Verizon has been matter of fact that voicemail messages
do not get lost, and they do not get delayed. Just last week, we had 10
different people call in to report delayed messages; and each went to tech
support (tier 2) and each referenced in addition to their own, a "common"
phone number that was also having problems. As person 1-10 called in, one
after another, cs and then to level 2, each referred to their own number and
"common" phone number; Each tech said there had been NO reports of delayed
messages. Obviously there are no problems with voicemail? Go figure.
