Several phone company's may have the answer many parents have been
    waiting for: a
tracking cell phone. Verizon has come out with what it calls the
"chaperone" phone, allowing parents to know their children's
whereabouts. You can actually set up child zones, so each time the
phone enters into the child zone which could be a school or whatever,
you can have it set up where it sends you a text message alert each
time the phone enters or leaves that area. Thia tracking service costs
10 to 20 dollars a month. Take a look at this video, this isn't a spam,
and sorry the sound is low:

But what's to stop the child from leaving the cell phone in their
    locker?

I'd think that, kids being kids, they would keep the phone with them.
These are the new status symbol, IMO. Tweens and Teens want their friends
    to know
how "important" they are. Keeping the phone with them just enhances this
    "important"-ness.
