Re: Which Motorola RAZR do I have (V3,V3c,V3i,V3x)? How can I tell?
Is the camera 0,3 Mega Pixel (V3) or 1,3 Mega pixel (V3i)

Given the following available "Motorola RAZR V3" cellphones:
- RAZR V3=GSM, RAZR V3i=GSM, RAZR V3x=3G & GSM, RAZR V3c=CDMA
- RAZR V3m=CDMA, RAZR V3im=GSM, V3xx=3G HSDPA & EDGE
Unfortunately, the EXIF info on the pictures doesn't have a field for the
camera name and model but it does confirm the photos are at 160 x 120
Pixels, 320 x 240 Pixels, & 640 x 480 Pixels, and at 24 BitsPerPixel.
On page 24 of the 106-page "Motomanual" (P/N SJJN7098C, dated September
2006), it confirms the camera "resolution" can be set to "MMS=160x120
pixels", "Medium=320x240 pixels", or "High=640x480 pixels" (where 640 * 480
= 0.3 mega pixels).
Wikipedia offers the following camera-based distinguishing features:
- V3 camera = 0.3 megapixels
- V3i camera = 1.23 megapixels
- V3x camera = 2.0 megapixels
So, I guess I bought the Motorola RAZR V3 (just like it says on the
package).
Bummer. They told me it was a V3(something) in the store but all it says on
the package is "Model RAZR Pink GSM Type:MQ3-4411H11 V3 PINK MOT").

Like the box says, it's a v3 GSM. If it were a different model it would
say so. The amount of memory is shown in the phone status menu.

I was hoping there was a way to tell what phone it was from the telephone
itself (not the box that the carrier put it in).
The reason is that the store clerk told me it was a Motorola RAZR
V3(something) and I didn't think much about it until I realized I should
have gotten the V3i.
Now it's too late but that's why I wanted to know what the phone was.

Look under the battery. There are 2 stickers. The phone model is above
the barcode on the lower sticker. The v3i looks different than the v3
and has different keypad graphics. Photos of both are at www.motorola.com. Also, under the v3i battery door there is a slot for
a memory card.

How is the battery removed? I removed the battery cover but I'm not sure
how to get the battery out. The manual is no help, it just show the
installation procedure.
Re: Which Motorola RAZR do I have (V3,V3c,V3i,V3x)? How can I tell?
Just lift the battery out by pressing gently and tilting it forward from
the top.
