I'm pretty sure that that's just a mistake on their web site.

Phonescoop shows the Kyocera KE414 as tri-mode. There was a KE413 that
was 1900 MHz CDMA only, presumably for MVNO carriers like Virgin that
don't allow roaming off of Sprint's network.
