Re: 3g iphone scratch protection
I got the Power Support Crystal Film set. comes with two films that cover the face of the phone only. I have one on an iPod and it worked excellent. Applies / removes quickly using static. Make sure the screen is clean and the area is relatively dust free. Any specks that get on the film will cause a bubble that will be very annoying. So work quickly.
Even if you get a skin for the rest of the case, get one of these display protectors. If they get scratched, you can replace them easily.

Re: 3g iphone scratch protection
I have the Griffin case and it fits well. I have not had any issues with it and the gray color looks sharp with the black iphone.

I have the Invisible Shield by ZAGG. It really works great, but is a pain to put on the back side (rounded). It protected my phone from an accidental drop onto asphalt.

Re: 3g iphone scratch protection
I have the Power Support anti-glare skin on the front, & "clear air" (crystal) on the back, I then put the whole thing in a Belkin leather case, which has a flap that closes over the front screen etc. - stops it getting scratched when in my bag, sharing with keys, pens, coins pouch etc..

Re: 3g iphone scratch protection
Or design your own?
It's up to you how detailed, busy, or simple.
Sports teams, bands, cars, celebrities, or your photos...
If you use a cell phone skin with a pic from the web or your own photo or design, the file size should at least 500 kb or better for decent resolution. (fyi, 1MB+ for laptops)
Any less than that and it will look kinda blurryLast edited by krazrman; 10-08-2008 at 04:14 PM. Reason: update 1mb

I have the Power Support Anti-Glare Film & Agent 18 Phone Shield case. It does the job and it does it well! Dropped it a few times - and no problem.
