I've got the 3rd generation iTouch and it the PP works fine charging it through a wall outlet. The PP has both wall outlet and cigarette lighter adapters though I haven't tired the latter.
I just called DLO (Phillips) and they said my PP isn't listed for the 3GS. If it works for the 3rd gen iTouch, will it work for the 3GS?
BTW, the part number is 009-1213-A

Re: DLO PowerPack for iPod ok for iPhone 3GS?
I called DLO and the tech looked it up and said "it is not listed as compatible". Didn't say it wasn't, just not listed as such. Asked the ATT CSR in the store and he did not know. When I get some spare moments, I'll call apple tech support and see what they say.
I know the plug for the dock connector works in either the itouch or iphone. Beyond that...?johnny

When you get an answer, or just break down and try it, let us know. The communal knowledge base is what makes this forum great.
An idea for you: Rather than asking Apple TS 'Does device A work with Device B', ask them this:
"Can I use the Dock connector and wall charger for my iTouch with my 3GS, and vice versa?" If you can, then your PP should work fine with both devices.
