Apple just gave me over 250.00 for my iPhone 4s that i sent back to Apple Via Mail, it was my kid's phone who updated to iPhone 5. Its a store credit which is great because we're always shopping in the Apple store so the credit will come in handy. i sent it back with NO damage, ear plugs, charger, and in the original box... so my tip is, take care of your phone, keep the Box, you never know about a trade in down the road..

So her new iPhone 5 cost 199.00 and i got back over 255.00... not bad
That's great. I've never traded in a phone because it wouldn't pay back enough to be worth it to me, but I don't usually have higher end devices, I usually buy cheaper phones. So, after a year or so, they might be worth $10. I'd rather keep them.

Weigh doesn't matter as long you love your phone that's fine

When a phone is light, it can make you think it is made with cheap materials, and can break easily. That isn't always the case, but a light phone can cause us to think that.

VERIZON insurance and APPLECARE, i cancel my √erizon insurance plan 10.00 a month, Apple covers Water damage and will replace/fix phone, √erizon will cover lost or stolen, apple does not, you'll have to pay full price to replace it. So as long as my phone doesn't get lost or stolen im fine. !0.00 a month is heavy, Apple is 99.00 for 2 years.

What is the deductible with Verizon Wireless vs Apple Care?

Verizon's deductible is a lot high, i don't know the exact number, but paying 10.00 a month for √erizon AND 99.00 with Apple for 2 years was a lot of money, as long as i don't lose my phone Apple's coverage seems good enough.

Yeah, Apple's insurance at $99 seems like a decent deal. Maybe they will include coverage for lost devices in the future, so there is no reason to choose Verizon's insurance over Apple's.

On the iPhone 5 only, you can snap a photo while shooting a video which is pretty cool. Start your video, then you'll see a Camera icon on the screen, top right depending on how you're holding the camera, as you video recording and you'd like a snap shot of something, hit the camera icon... you'll now have a photo.

Re: My iPhone 5 Real-Time Review

This was emailed to me by a friend and works pretty good...

with the new Google map for IOS available SIRI defaults to Apple's Map App for routing/Directions... here's a way around it. When prompting SIRI, end your request with "VIA TRANSIT" ... this will give you the option to use Google Maps to Route your trip.

That's a great feature. I wonder if there is an application that will add something like that on an Android phone.
