Purchase used iPhone through Swappa or other source

I'd appreciate hearing about experiences buying a used iPhone through sellers listed on Swappa or similar.

I could save a good bit of $$ on a SE 2 doing that, rather than buying new.

But what about repairs? I assume the original Apple warranty isn't transferable, so I'd have to pay for repairs.

Does Apple place any restrictions on repairing iPhones bought second-hand?
Can you use authorized Apple repair sites?

Also, have you found the descriptions of the units to be accurate, esp.% of battery life?
