Hi, I recently bought an Audiovox CDM8900 from my local Verizon Wireless place. I had some questions about it that I couldn't find the answers to in the manual, and I thought you guys might be able to help me.

Sorry if I'm repeating a topic that was already covered.

How do I keep etiquette mode on? When I switch etiquette mode on, and turn the phone off, the phone forgets that I set it to it, and it makes that little tune and all the regular noises after I turn it on? I want to have all sounds off, and just have it on vibrate when it calls, is that possible? How do I turn off that annoying tune when I turn off and on the phone?

Also, will my carrier, Verizon, charge me money if I send pictures? Will it warn me on the phone before I do it, or will it just tack the charges onto my monthly bill?

Thank you so much for all of your help,

    DestroyerX

i dont know about the etiquette thing but i do no when u turn the fone on no sound or silent w/e the lowest one possible is, u dont have the annoying on off noises but it doesnt vibrate either.

as to the pictures, it will charge you i think 15 cents per picture msg and it will NOT warn you of any charges. you can tho go to verizon and set up for $8 a month a certain amount of picture msgs and txt msgs. hope this helps

    Thanks for the info.

This is the fourth cell phone forums I tried to get an answer and this is the only one where I've gotten a good answer.

    Thanks,

Hopefully I can find out more about the etiquette mode and that stuff.
