You know, Michael, you really do need to get a life. Fancy getting all
fired up over something so mundane and banal as an internet forum
    discussion on SMSing.

Tell me. Are you trying to out-Speed Speed in your obnoxiousness, or
    does it come naturally?

sms is charged upon acceptance by the smsc, and then delivery is
attempted, small print in contract will say " best effort" or similar on
    delivery to b party.

networks "throttle systems" and change retry schedules and expiry period
    on smsc during peak times
congestion is goin to happen at peak times ie new years etc, dont know
    what all the fuss is:
    happy days
