For whatever reason, it seems that my phone doesn't want to do e-mail/FB/browser when not attached to a wifi network, I've looked for settings and also tried to turn off wifi completely to see if that would fix it, but to no avail, any ideas on what I should do?

Are you getting a data connection? Do you have the correct data plan with your provider?

Issue was resolved as well. Under Options/Advanced Options/Service Book my unit had lost all of it's service provides except for the calling, provisioning, and wifi. So any data was kaput, FB, Picture messages, Gmail, Browser, etc, etc. Took it to USCC, my friend had to call RIM and spend about an hour on the phone. Apparently some random freak issue that rarely happens that causes the phone to loose all its service book setup. Each app you get has a certain service book entry. You should have a decent list, I had about 4, RIM had to push the config down to it which fixed it up right away after that. Everything worked beautifully. I asked him if there was anything I could do to fix it if it happened in the future, or if there was something I did to cause it, both were a no. So if your **** stops work'n and it works on wifi, take it in, they'll more than likely have to call RIM to push down service book.

I had tried to test functionality with WIFI turned off as well since I figured it might have some sort of DNS issue between WIFI/USCC, not the exact technical issue, but acts similarly. Check service book and if your data only works on WIFI, you probably have the same issue.

My phone would do nothing all day, but when I'd get home everything would start to pop in as soon as I picked up my WIFI.
