Oh just for grins and giggles, and to mark my 100th post, I thought I'd pose this question. First person who gets the answer right gets 1000 CPF$ from me.
› See More: What's the difference between a woman and a lady?An exaggerated sense of entitlement is evident when one presumes privileges to be inalienable rights.
Good manners are never in bad taste.

Re: What's the difference between a woman and a lady?
To me...
A woman is a female who can take charge, who can function on her own, who can role with the punches, a female who knows what she wants and what it takes to get it. A woman is a female who is mature and in adulthood.
A lady is more gentle and dependant, more elegant and fragile. She is well manered, and a good member of society, she is conservative and rule abiding.
Thats how i see it.

Re: What's the difference between a woman and a lady?
"woman" is a physical/anatomical description indicating female+sexual maturity, "lady" describes a type of female behavior the definition of which is left to the beholder....
the same would be said of "man" and "gentleman"

An intersting poser--Let's say an older man and a younger woman arrive at an entry point at the same time.
Which should apply: Ladies first or age before beauty?

No matter how old you get to be you should never stop being a gentleman.

Re: What's the difference between a woman and a lady?
Momerator and Robb---both true, but not quite what I had in mind. A clue is in the first sentence: ...just for "grins and giggles"..., meaning, THE answer has an elment of humor. Momerator is on the right track, but a tad serious. This was meant to be fun.
Un beso por Brad y Tony, dos señores quièn son muy amable y chistoso....inteligente, guapo, valiente....STOP ME PLEASE!!!! lol. Smiles.

Re: What's the difference between a woman and a lady?
.....ahhh..... the punchline to a joke...
howsabout: "A lady goes on a date, goes home, then goes to bed. A woman goes on a date, goes to bed, then goes home."
Now.... should we be reading into your username or are you just playing the tease?

ROFL...isn't the answer I had in mind, but damned good...500 cpf$ for you sister girl.
The username...was given to me...would have been ungracious not to accept. Besides...I may tease, but ultimately please. Smiles
