best option to call g.f in India

Hey Guyz...looking for some insight.

I want to call my g.f. in India. Am looking for the best options (cell phone, land phone, with/without int. calling cards, pc to cell phone etc). She has to use a cell...just confused about what I should use (cell/land/pc ...)

I just wonder if there is something like this.

Is there a system where I can buy two phones; send one to her (to India) and we can talk using these 2 phones? If there is such a system, is it good? Ofcourse, I can use the phone only to talk with her. I am talking about a "walkie talkie" like system which works internationally.

Anyone heard of it?

I was browsing on this all today.

I went from Skype to Vonage to ... to .... and finally have my eyes set on "IPVAANI".
