Nokia 6102 for Cingular

Is this phone ever going to come out? If not should I just get a LG c2000? Thanks in advance.

Forget it I went to my local Cingular and they said they honestly have no idea when it is coming out because it gets pushed back every week, so I purchased the LG C2000 and thus far I am extremely happy.

It will be out the week if the 15 of this month.

I would like to know how he knows the date but yet nobody else in the country is sure. Even if you were told that they'll probably push it back again. Nice info if its true though.

The Nokia 6102 is already available through independent retailers, let's just hope that this one doesn't get passed on by Cingular like the Moto v635 did.

I cant' share that info of where but when and if it changes I'll post again.

I found out that it's new schedule date is on 10/13. Now if it changes again I will tell you

I found out that the new launch date will be 10/13/05 and this is for the nokia 6102/6101. No offense taken

I was just in our local Cingular store yesterday and was going to get the LG C2000 but the guy told me the Nokia 6102 will be out THIS THURSDAY and if I want a phone with really good reception I should wait. He said they're only going to get like 40 though and a lot of people are waiting on them so if you want one you better be there when they open...I'm hoping they'll be online because usually prices are better there. He said he thinks they're going to be $89.99 (probably after a mail-in rebate though).

What state are you in? I don't want you to be disappointed. The lauch date I quoted is accurate as of 09/19/05

I'm in Georgia. The guy even already had a little cube advertisement thing he was showing me with a picture and some specs...he seemed pretty certain that it would be here Thursday, but I didn't know about all the release date controversy at that point or I would have pressed him further. I'm going to one of the independent dealers at the mall during lunch today to see what they say...

On a side note (not to hijack the thread)...what is that CPF$ thing over there??
