I recently borrowed a phone and unlocked it for use with my Cingular GO Phone service. It seemed to work alright till I got tired of the T-Mobile tone built into the phone! I tried to connect to get a ringtone and it tries to connect to T-Mobile to download ringtones or use internet. I tired to use Cingular's online service and get a link sent to the phone, it sent the link, but it tries to connect to T-Mobile's internet services.
The phone is a Samsung SGH-T309 and was locked to T-Mobile (Obviously) before I unlocked it.

If no one can help I guess it's back to my ole' reliable Sony Ericsson T290a....

Edit: I just noticed that the key tones cannot be changed. And it also seems as if the code I used was only a temporary unlock code. Does anyone know of a permanent unlock code?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Devin

It will not allow me to access the browser settings for some reason. I've been all thru the phone and I cannot find anything related to browser settings anywhere.
