I went to do a search and I noticed that Google now has a browser. So I was wondering if anyone else is using it?
Google Chrome - Download a new browser
I really only use Firefox, because I hate IE. But I am open to something new if it is better. But I just need to know more about it. What does others think?

I just got it too. Its a little minimalistic for my taste. I'm kind of curious about what kind of plugins they will offer though. Maybe with the right theme it will work for me.

Re: Anyone Else Using The Google Chrome Web Browser?
Yeah it's really basic, but it's only Beta right now. It doesn't seem to have the "Page Info" Tools that Firefox has. I love being able to take what I need off of a page. It also seems to be slow loading large amounts of images. I do like that I can stop the loading of a page; which is one of the many reasons why I hate IE. I like doing things quickly, and IE loads pages for a while before it gives you a chance to stop it.
The only problem I'm worried about is Google monitors their users way, way too much. If you don't disable the Internal History feature of Google's search engine; Google will have every bit of usage info. I'm paranoid, so I don't like for anyone to monitor anything I do. That is why I always read Privacy TOS. So that is something that I'm going to watch out for. But the browser does have potential.

I've been using it recently too, and it is certainly much faster than other browsers, my only issue with it is apparently its new V8 engine handles Javascript a little differently meaning websites such as Facebook don't work correctly!

Re: Anyone Else Using The Google Chrome Web Browser?
I'm waiting for them to release support for the Mac. Heard that it's kinda faster than Firefox.

Re: Anyone Else Using The Google Chrome Web Browser?
It is faster is doing somethings. Just like Firefox is faster then IE at other things, and IE over Firefox. I haven't read too much about Google releasing the browser for Mac, but they would be stupid to ignore that large part of the browsing market. I know they are going to do it, I just don't know when.
Google needs to add the "Page Info" option that Firefox offers in order to get me to use it more often. And offer some Add-On's support. It's funny, IE didn't have any add-ons, then Firefox came out with tons of customizable features, and now I can't use any other browser unless I can set it up the way I want it to function.
So the browser has some great simple features, but they need more. More Add-On's, Security, Advertisement blocking, and web page control feature to compete head-to-head with Firefox. IE isn't even a threat; so Google doesn't even need to focus anytime at all on that worthless, dated, piece of junk IE!

Chrome is nice, minimalist, fast, sexy.
I use it under XP and Vista, never had problem, never crash...very nice browser and more than more light comparing with his big brother safari.

Re: Anyone Else Using The Google Chrome Web Browser?
I got it as soon as it came out and absolutely love it!, its easy to use and offers many great features such as the predictive address bar, although the styling could be slightly offputting for certain clients so FF3 remains the default browser for work =(

Re: Anyone Else Using The Google Chrome Web Browser?
I'm avoiding Chrome and anything else that isn't FireFox.
FireFox will always be the best browser, depsite Google trying to get their hands on everything. They already dominate search, can't they just keep that and leave the browsing to IE and FireFox?

Really likt it, simple and clean, good first generaion browser for acompany just starting in the market, and i like if a site, crashes a window, it doesn't take the whole browser with it.
