IRC is much better if u know people who will hook u up, otherwise i think bittorrent is faster

I use Bittorent, it's faster I can just let it go and it gets done, I hated waiting in "line" for the download and yes it seems more stuff is getting on Bittorent quicker now.

I use irc more than bittorent but overall i use Direct Connect http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/ you can get it there it is really a great program i highly suggest you get it.

They both depend on the person(s) that is sending the file. So I think both are good. If there was only a way to combine all of the technologies...

what can you get from irc...
i know from BT you can get ps2,xbox pc games ....along with movies and tv episodes.

I love IRC!!! I find pretty much everything i want on there, very simply using xdcc packets and all. So its awesome. I also serve on there too. So I get priority queue

Use mIRC and BT = winnarz!!!!!!
the main downsides to the two p2p appz:
mirc - u gotta wait in line sometimes
bt - u have to share
as you can see this only hurts the llama's

I use BT... have u guys tried shareaza??? it combines emule/overnet and BT. I can usually dl around 200 kb/s and i have reached 1mb/s before. So its a pretty good program
