Do you use BitTorrent or IRC more?

I'm trying to figure out what people use more. It seems BitTorrent is faster getting new stuff, whereas IRC tends to be faster.

i use bit... it seems better and faster.. only wish i could control my up/down load rates... sorry i never used IRC

I tend to use IRC more... but you're right, you'd most likely find stuff on BitTorrent sooner than any IRC server.

I use Bit Torrent more now. I use IRC too but BT seems to be easier to find and download stuff. BT is good for macs. You can control upload speeds that you allows. Not like windows.

I use IRC. Pretty fast downloads and it's not as hard to find what you're looking for as some people make it out to be.

I love bit torrent was quite reliable to be honest especially on the popular downloads, my experiences with IRC are not as reliable as bit.

Haven't used BT very much, I've always stuck with IRC... might try BT some more soon since ppl are sayin things are on it faster than IRC.

I use BitTorrent, but I feel it's bad. I mean how worse can it get than downloading only 4 MB in 12 Hrs. I have the official client. I have internet through LAN. This BitTorrent uploads 10Mb for every megabyte or so downloaded. Thus eventually, I have uploaded more than 800MB while I could download only 267Mb. And even after 27hours(yes, I left my PC on for three days and today is the 4th day) the rates are only 2-4kbps download while the upload is 20-25kbps.
Bad. Very Bad.

I like IRC a lil better, but bittorrent is tight!

Irc, it is much faster for me and bittorrent is way too slow.
