The Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most anticipated handsets to hit the market this year, and it's also one of the most pre-ordered device, with 9 million pre-purchases being recorded before its European release. That's roughly half of what the Samsung Galaxy S2 accomplished since its launch until February this year.

Needless to say, the SGS3 is quite popular, and for good reasons. It sports top of the line hardware, it comes with 2 GB of RAM in the US and Canada making it perfect at multitasking, it offers a new slick design and a charming user interface, and it also comes packed with neat features such as S Voice, S Beam and NFC just to name a few.

Despite all that, Terry Gou the chairman of Foxconn, the company responsible for producing iPhones, iPads, Xboxes and PlayStations has recently declared to China Times that people should wait for the launch of the iPhone 5, because "the new model will put Samsung's Galaxy S3 to Shame".

That's a bold statement and I hope it turns out to be true, because there are very few things that are more interesting than that moment when new groundbreaking technologies make their way on the market. In case you love the SGS3 I for one wouldn't advise you to wait a few more months (or who knows how much exactly?!) in order to get the iPhone 5, because then you'll be trapped in a circle and once the iPhone 5 hits the market, you'll probably be persuaded to wait for the Galaxy S4 which will be even more jaw-dropping.

That being said, buy what you think it suits you best. Still, I for one am eager to meet the device that can put the Galaxy S3 to shame.
