AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Owners – Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is Here

Samsung has started to Android 4.1 roll-out process on the international Galaxy Note many months ago. However, the deployment process has been halted or slowed down to an incredibly slow pace, and there's still a lot of work to be done.
Fortunately though, AT&T and Samsung have now finally released Jelly Bean on the aforementioned carrier's Galaxy Note, so if you happen to own one of these gadgets then you should be interested in this.

First things first, the reason why you haven't received an update notification on your device is because the new OS is being delivered via Samsung KIES and not over the air. That being said, in order to update your AT&T Note to Android 4.1, you'll need to visit the manufacturer's official website, grab the USB cable and install the files manually. You'll find the necessary information by hitting the source links below.

As for the update itself, what you can expect once your phablet will run on the latest available operating system is a boost in smoothness and performance thanks to various Project Butter tweaks, and you'll also have access to the familiar Google Now application. Additionally, the user interface has suffered some changes, the notification area has been revamped in order to accommodate actionable notifications, and new features have been added, such as Popup Note and Popup Video.
