Though most of the time we're bringing you news regarding smartphones (after all, this is cellphoneforums), today I'm going to discuss a bit about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (which is a tablet), and you'll soon understand why.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has been recently announced in the US by AT&T, where –according to the carrier- the tablet in question will be offered exclusively for the next few weeks or so. Normally the 4G LTE-enabled Slate will set you back $399 alongside a new two-year contract, but there's another way of buying it, at a much reduced price.

In case you're actually planning on buying a Samsung flagship smartphone, then you might want to look into AT&T's latest bundle. Whether you're going to purchase a Galaxy S4, a Galaxy S4 Active or a Galaxy Note 2 on contract, soon you'll also be given the option to get a Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet at the reduced price of $199. More so, you'll technically save a bit of cash on the monthly data plan as well, assuming that you'll add both the smartphone and the tablet to a mobile share plan.

Prospective customers can take advantage of the aforementioned deal / bundle starting with June 21st. As for the tablet itself, well, in case you're not so familiar with it, then what you'll get is an 8.0 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, a quad-core Exynos 4412 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage expandable by up to 64 GB, a 5 MP main camera complemented by a 1.3 MP frong-facing sensor, a 4,600 mAh battery and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with the TouchWiz user interface on top.

Last but not least, the Note 8.0 conceals an S Pen (after all, the slate is part of the "Note" series), and it also bundles a wide range of S Pen-friendly applications.

Is anyone interested in taking advantage of this offer?
