MWC 2012 announces the LG Optimus 3D Max P720 as the "slimmest and brightest 3D smartphone"

Just as we expected, the LG Optimus 3D Cube, known in South Korea, was announced at the MWC 2012 as, LG Optimus 3D Max P720. The LG Optimus 3D Max P720 is said to be the "slimmest and brightest 3D smartphone", and has a 520-nit bright display.

Features of the LG Optimus 3D Max P720 will come with the following: Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread (upgradeable to Android 4.0 ICS), a 4.3 inch WVGA display with Gorilla Glass 2 (800 x 480), 5MP rear camera with 2D and 3D photo taking and video recording, VGA front facing camera, 1.2GHz Dual-core processor, 3D editing capabilities, NFC, HSPA, 8GB internal memory and a 1520 mAh battery.

The LG Optimus 3D Max is said to become available in the second quarter of 2012.
