The Korean media has been buzzing quite a lot recently, regarding Samsung's future plans. There's even talk about the manufacturer intending on building solid state flexible batteries, and that it plans on implementing magnetic resonance wireless charging technology in its future smartphones. Nevertheless, Samsung is not the only giant manufacturer of South Korea. LG is also one of the most successful and prominent consumer electronics companies in the world. The year is not over, and LG is said to have a few more devices to show us by 2014, including the Nexus 5.

As a matter of fact, according to recent reports coming from Korea, LG has been working on not one, but three new devices that will probably hit the market by the end of the year.

One of these devices is the Nexus 5 which will be offered as a Google device through the Play Store, as usual. According to sources, the Nexus 5 is expected to be released sometime by the end of this month.

But that's not all. The Korean publication ETNews has also revealed that the rumored LG G Flex will be released in November. The device allegedly packs a 6 inch flexible OLED display, which has been curved top to bottom. Supposedly, this design will offer a great experience while watching movies in landscape mode; an experience similar to the one offered by non-flat cinema screens.

Furthermore, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Round (which also arrives with a flexible screen, curved left to right), the LG G Flex will be more than just a limited device that takes the form of a purchasable prototype. In fact, the source claims that the device will be retailed in Korea through 3 major carriers. More so, rumor has it that the G Flex will also be released through global carriers as well. This evidently means that the device will not be limited to a Korean release, and that it should go on sale in other regions as well, hopefully on the western markets.

Last but not least, the source has also suggested that LG is working on a Firefox OS smartphone that will also be unveiled in November. Whether or not this mysterious device will be unveiled at the same time as the LG G Flex remains to be seen.

That's all there is to it for now, but chances are that more bits of information regarding these handsets will surface soon.
