As some of you might already know, several weeks ago there have been quite a few rumors regarding the LG G Flex and the Samsung Galaxy Round. These devices were rumored to become the first smartphones featuring a flexible display, and it seemed like both Korean manufacturers were in a race to get their handsets out on the market as soon as possible.

Those of you who have followed the mobile market during this period of time already know that Samsung seemed to have won the competition, but that's not actually the case. While Samsung has been the first to announce and release its flexible-screen smartphone, the Galaxy Round is more of a semi-prototype device that has been launched only in Korea, and produced in limited numbers. On the other hand, the LG G Flex is supposed to hit the market sometime in November –at least according to reports- and unlike the Galaxy Round, the Flex will get a wide release, outside of Korea.

As the clock is ticking and the gadget is getting closer to the finish line, a handful of photos depicting the G Flex have now leaked on the web, giving us an even closer look at what we can expect from the handset, at least in terms of design.

As before, the G Flex appears to deliver a display that has been curved left-to-right (as opposed to the Round's top-to-bottom form factor). Interestingly enough, it appears that LG has also fitted the volume buttons on the back of the device, in a similar fashion to the LG G2. The main camera appears to be accompanied by a dual color LED flash that might aid with the natural skin tone while taking pictures. Hopefully, the G Flex will also deliver optical image stabilization like its already launched sibling – the G2.

Other than that, the Flex is rumored to pack a 6 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920, and a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor under the hood.

Any thoughts regarding this particular device? Don't forget to check out the links below for more photos with the Flex.
