First there was the Motorola XT316 and now Motorola is coming out with another new device...Motorola XT531. The XT531 will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be a full touchscreen device, without the QWERTY keyboard as that of the XT316.
Features of the Motorola XT531 will include: a 3.5 inch HVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, 5MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, Qik Video Connect app, 800MHz processor, 512MB of on-board memory, 1540 mAh battery with 28 days of stand by time or 8 hours of talk time and MicroSD card support.
The Motorola XT531 is not coming to the US anytime soon, but it is expected to launch in China later on this month and will make its way to other Asian markets, Latin America and Europe this coming fall. The handset will be named "Fire XT" in Europe and Spice XT in Latin America.
