For those of you waiting for the Nokia Lumia 610 and Lumia 900 to launch in the Philippines this month, bad news. We previously reported that both devices would launch in the Philippines by the end of this month, but as it now looks, the handsets have been pushed farther back and delayed until May.
It's not really been confirmed as to why the Nokia Lumia 610 and the Lumia 900 are being delayed, but it could possibly have something to do with the Nokia Lumia 900 becoming a big demand in the United States, which is delaying the launch of the device in the UK and in the Philippines. The Nokia Lumia 610, on the other hand, may be due to the carriers, Globe Telecom & Smart Communications.
Both carriers have the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 710 exclusively and may seem a little worried, that the Nokia Lumia 610 may launch at a lower price than their Nokia Lumia 710.
Whenever the launch happens in the Philippines for both Nokia devices, we will keep you updated. In the meantime, expect the Nokia Lumia 610 to be priced at 12,000 - 13,000 pesos ($282-$306)
