Samsung Announces The Galaxy Ace 3 – Check Out The Details

In case the current low-mid range smartphone line-up delivered by Samsung isn't offering exactly what you're looking for, then the Korean manufacturer has now announced yet another gadget that might just suit your needs.

After a handful of rumors, the Galaxy Ace 3 is now making the headlines in an official manner. The gadget in question packs a 4 inch 480 x 800 display, a dual-core CPU with a frequency of 1 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage out of which 1.77 GB are available to the user, a microSD card slot that allows you to expand the storage, and a 5 MP main camera complemented by a VGA secondary sensor. The handset also packs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, sprinkled with the TouchWiz user interface on top. This means that you'll have access to features such as Easy Mode, S Voice, S Translate, S Travel and more.

The specs above correspond to the 3G variant of the Ace 3, but there's also a 4G model. The latter packs a dual-core CPU running at 1.2 GHz instead of 1 GHz, and it also has more storage, for a total of 8 GB, out of which 5 are user accessible.

Although Samsung hasn't revealed any details regarding an exact release date or the price at which you'll be able to buy the Ace 3, the Korean manufacturer has announced that the 4G LTE model will be retailed in the UK. Samsung hasn't mentioned a US launch but some carriers should be interested in picking up the Ace 3 in the future.

As for the handset's release in the UK, chances are that the Galaxy Ace 3 will be present in London during the Premiere 2013 event held by Samsung on June 20th, but once again, this is not set in stone.
