Samsung is one of the most active smartphone manufacturers on the market. The Korean giant has stolen the spotlight with many devices throughout the year, including the iconic Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Round has also made the headlines lately, being the very first smartphone in the world to feature a flexible display. Nonetheless, Samsung is not all about high-end devices, and if you're familiar with this brand, then you already know the fact that the company has a tendency of pumping out low-to-mid range smartphones like there's no tomorrow.

On a related matter, T-Mobile has recently announced a handful of entry-level handsets as well, and interestingly enough, the latest announcement coming from the aforementioned carrier has focused on a new entry-level Samsung device, called the Galaxy Light.

The Galaxy Light features a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 800 and a pixel density of 223 ppi, a Samsung SHANNON222AP quad-core processor running at 1.4 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage expandable by up to 64 GB. On the back panel resides a 5 MP main camera, which is complemented by a front-facing 0.3 VGA sensor. The device is being powered by a 1,800 mAh battery, and arrives with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, featuring Samsung's proprietary TouchWiz user interface. Last but not least, the Galaxy Light is 4G LTE capable, so that's definitely a plus to those who are looking for fast data transfer speeds.

As far as availability and pricing goes, unfortunately T-Mobile hasn't been able to disclose any information regarding these matters. Nevertheless, we suspect that the Galaxy Light will soon become available for purchase without too much of a fuss, and that it will indeed be offered at a lower price, according to the low-end hardware specifications.

Would any of you be interested in buying the Galaxy Light from T-Mobile? If so, then what would you consider to be the right price-point?
