The Sprint
HTC EVO 4G is not the only smartphone getting a software update. The Sprint
Motorola Photon 4G has also received a software update, that will improve the phone's stability and issues with responsiveness as well as fixing the issue with "inadvertent voice calls defaulting to mute", voice calling improvements and Bluetooth support for mono headsets in the Sprint Visual Voicemail app.
This is an OTA update that will happen in stages and can be done manually if you have not received a notification on your device. You can go to Settings>About Phone>System Updates>Update Motorola Software.
If you do not see a download taking place, this means your phone is not ready for the update and may take a couple times on your part, to manually download. This update usually takes about 5 - 15 minutes and you will need to make sure that your device is fully charged for the download to do its job.
