    I've recently bought a Nokia 6610, it supports GIF files and when I open them from the gallery they animate but when I put it as wallpaper it doesn't animate.

    Any clue

    I don't think there is any way around this. It is the same with the 7210 and 6100.

    I imagine mainly because it would drain batteries too much as it does on the 7650.
