My Sanyp SCP-8100 got wet a while back. All but a couple buttons stopped working, so I couldn't make calls, but I could receive them. I read that you can soak the circuit board in rubbing alcohol to remedy this problem. Sometimes. I couldn't find anything to open the phone because the screw were some weird propriety. So I soak the whole thing, minus the battery, in a bowl of rubbing alcohol, then stick the thing in the stove on warm! The buttons work! But now it doesn't appear I can connect to digital service, I only sometimes get an analog roam. Anyone got any tips?
