I recently got the Samsung A900 and I found out that you can't use songs from your computer as ringtones, my question is :
Is there any cell phones out there (Good ones =\) that have the ability to do that?
I only ask because I have 30 days to decide if I wanna keep this phone or get a different one. I do like the phone but I get barely okay reception. Which brings me to my next question :
Do Antenna Boosters really make a difference?
I figure if I can at least get 3 bars I'd be happy with that.
I apologize if these are in the wrong forums, but I have no idea where to post questions as general as these. Thank you for any help you can provide.

The best program I can recommend is >dBpower Amp<, it's free for 30 days and then you have to purchase a license (only $14). If you REALLY don't want to spend any money, there are free ones at download.com, but you'll have to run your spyware zapper after you install the freeware to test them because they are often bugged. Just try the link above and you'll be happy.Originally Posted by ZelandiaOriginally Posted by Zelandia
There are "boosters" that you plug into the wall, stick an antenna on the side of your house, and they pick up a signal outdoors, then amplify/repeat it inside. They make these for the car as well, it's all a matter of how much you want to spend to have good reception. I spent around $300 for an okay setup, my reception indoors is now better than standing outside, whereas I used to get really poor service and roaming indoors. Let me go dig up that link now...

However, it is possible with the right amplifier/repeater device and the right antenna to get reception up to 50 miles from a tower! Depending on how much money you want to invest, you can buy one for the home or for your vehicle, but make sure you know which band your carrier uses. In the case of Sprint, "PCS" is by definition, the "1900mhz" band.
Wilson Cellular <~ Highly recommended products of superior quality!
Cell Booster Store <~ It was cheap but seems to work fine for me.
