Im always sending large group texts, and I have about 1000 contacts in the phone. Problem is I can only send like 40 text msgs at a time.
How can I just send the same text to everyone all at once??
Im sick of sending limits, is there some phone that sends texts to groups?
I dont need a stil camera or a computer or a video cam on my phone, and I dont need an antenna to fly out of my ass every time I want to make a call. I just need lots of spae for contacts and this text capability. I was thinking about buying a treo or a sidekick, but if it doesnt send multiple messages at once, I'll be pissed!
Does anyone have this problem or am I the only one? thanks

Re: wtf TEXT messaging is so tedious!
I use cingular. Im not spamming, these people are my friends.
I just want a cool phone that can organize contacts into groups, and then send the 1 message to that group I choose (of maybe 1000 or 500 people)
Is there any phone that does this? Or am I reduced to suffering with aol software.

you seem to have a huge friend circle, best solution - hire a secretary & all your work is done smoothly....

Re: wtf TEXT messaging is so tedious!
Get an email account that allows you to setup a different "reply to" address (which is going to be your phone's SMS address) and preferably one that also has an option for mass mailings. Then, save all your contacts' SMS addresses in the address book for that email account. Now, you can type a message (remember to leave the subject line blank) and send it as a group mailing. The only difference is that your contacts will receive it as a text message on their phone, and when they reply it will come back to your "reply to" address, which is your phone. I just thought that up off the top of my head but it sounds like a perfect solution for you.
