Hi there,

Just found this forum and am posting for the first time.

Found a Sanyo SPH-A920 that someone lost and don't know what to do with it. Ideally I'd like to return it to the owner's hands. I've called the local Sprint store and they said they'd take it and attempt to contact the owners. Didn't sound like they had a real plan on how to get it back to them.

I looked up the phone number in the phone but it connects to a fax machine which leads me to believe they changed their number.

Any thoughts or recomendations on how to best handle this situation. If there's no real way to get it back to it's owner, would I be able to use it under my current Sprint account?

If it's reported lost or stolen, the ESN will be blacklisted and Sprint won't activate it. I suggest taking it to the Sprint Store. They'll look up the ESN and get contact info for the account holder to try and contact them. It's the best (and most honest) thing you can do.

Theres only one # in the Phone Book? just call every number in the phone book would be my idea if i ever found one and was able to power it on. one time a found a phone that i couldnt turn on so unfourtanately it could not be returned.
