Does anyone know how to unlock a phone w/out going to the store where i bought it? i tried to activate the phone by calling the phone company, all was well until they said it wasnt unlocked by the store where we bought it. well the trouble is, it was bought for me back in august as a present, my girlfriend threw the box away & didnt keep the receipt. i really want to use my new phone, finally have money for a phone card, but i am trying to avoid going to the store to face any problems bcuz i dont have a receipt or the box. this is a big headache & i am wondering if there are any cell phone experts out there that can help with this problem. please help.......
