Pantech has just announced a new Android handset, called the Pantech Sirius IM-A600S. The Pantech Sirius measures 11.5 mm in thickness and is a full touch smartphone that runs on Android 2.1 and comes with these features: a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, Wi-Fi, T-DMB, DivX support, 5MP camera, 500MB of internal memory, and an 8GB memory card in the box.
South Korea should see the Pantech Sirius IM-A600S beginning this month, via SK telecom, of a price of 900,000 won (about $810). It is said that Pantech is talking with AT&T and Verizon about launching Android smartphones and the Sirius could possibly be one of them.
