Hi,

I've been looking around for any kind of application that would do the job of an answering machine on the cell phone. Didn't find a thing yet (?).

I don't have the phone yet but thinking of the Android 2.2 or the like.

A big provider here (Videotron) told me that it doesn't exist, that I have to pay for that service. That whole thing smells kinda funny to me. I mean, I have a regular phone with it. Why not on a cell? It’s not like we’re in 1990 isn’t it?

Well its the same function as a voicemail... Why wouldn't you just activate your voicemail then so if you can't answer the call it will be directed to your voicemail which you can listen to afterwards, same stuff actually
