According to a report by Reuters, only 25 percent of smartphone buyers as a whole planned to stick with the operating system of their current phone, compared to 59 percent of iPhone users.
Interesting figure. Makes one wonder whether it has anything to do with hardware, or simply brand imaging What do you think?

It’s widely known that Apple’s strength is how it manages its brand. They keep it simple, minimalistic and stylish, which got picked up by hipsters and everybody who likes the image. Kinda the same for Blackberry I think, only does BlackBerry has a more mature and business like flair to it. Would explain why it also scored high.

I think Google is seriously starting an Android movement though. Compared to the iPhone, the Android is still pretty fresh, but some hardcore fans are definitely out there.

Hahaha.. where did u find that one? Just yesterday I came across the same thing
I’m not an Android user… I’m definitely an Apple fan.
Anyways, I think the problem nowadays that so many phones come out it’s hard to keep track of what is which brand. Especially all non-Apple phones. And that’s the strength of the iPhone. There are not many models, so it’s easier for the users to feel connected.Last edited by Augustine; 12-02-2010 at 05:15 AM.
