    Well it maybe true but if you notice how technology changes,you will not really stick to a plan for a phone that you will have to keep for 2 years. 2years ago,nokia is the hottest cell phone in the market but it was change when iPhone came and Android came. So I guess there is some advantage in renting a phone that committing to a 2 year plan.
