Wife has a mytouch phone. She doesn't have a lot of application running since she isn't that phone savy. The battery runs out fairly quickly. Even when I charge the phone it can takes many hours to charge. I have left it charging overnight and its shows 85% charged. For it to charge 100% I HAVE to turn the phone off. Do I need a new battery or is it something else?

Re: T-Mobile mytouch battery issue
It sounds like you need a new battery. You may also want to check that there isn't something running in the background, like words with friends checking for updates, or e-mail checking for updates every 5 min.

Before buying a new battery you should also check the charger too.

An incident that is quite rare but must also be careful.
