Transferring Contacts Using iTunes:

If you have access to a computer with iTunes installed, then you can use the software in order to sync your contacts from the iPhone with your Google account. You need an active Internet connection and the proprietary iPhone USB cable. Synced contacts will come with the contact's photo, email address and any additional stored info.

  1. Open iTunes on your computer, and connect your iPhone to it via USB
  2. In iTunes, the iPhone will appear. Click the device to view the summary page
  3. Access the "Info" tab and enable "Sync Contacts With"
  4. From the drop-down list, select "Google Contacts"
  5. If you haven't added a Google account in iTunes before, enter your account's details. Otherwise, click "Configure" and select an existing account
  6. Click "Apply" and iTunes will start syncing your contacts
  7. On the Meizu MX3, register the same account as in iTunes, and allow it to sync contacts with your smartphone. NOTE: to add an account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"

Using iCloud to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

The iCloud back up service includes the option to export contacts in the form of a VCF file. As such, if you've used this service before, then your iPhone's contacts should already be backed up on your iCloud account. Follow the steps below to get the contacts on your Android device:

  1. Open your computer's Internet browser and go to https://www.icloud.com/
  2. Sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts"
  4. From the contact list, select the ones that you wish to share with the MX3
  5. When ready, click the settings icon depicted as a cog wheel, and select "Export vCard"
  6. Your computer will now download a VCF file
  7. Import the file to "Google Contacts"
  8. Alternatively, you can skip the step above, and instead, connect the Meizu MX3 to your computer and copy the vCard file to the phone's memory. Then, using the contacts application on your device, import the vCard file's contents using the "Import / Export" feature

Using "My Contacts Backup":

There are several applications out there that allow you to transfer contacts from an iPhone without the need of a computer. "My Contacts Backup" is among the most popular iOS apps for contact transfer, as it can compile your contacts in a VCF file that can then be transferred to the Android device via email.

  1. From the App Store, install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
  2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
  3. A VCF file will be created. Once done, tap "Email" to attach the file to a new email
  4. Send the email to your own Gmail address
  5. On the Meizu MX3, open the email with the VCF file attached to it
  6. Download the VCF file on your Android smartphone, and import its contents using the contacts application, by selecting "Import from storage"

Using the "Send Anywhere" Application:

Send Anywhere is a P2P transfer application that gives you the option to share your phone's contacts. For this method, you don't need access to a computer or USB cables.

  1. Go to the App Store and download "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone
  2. From the Play Store, download the application on your Meizu MX3 as well
  3. Open the application on both devices
  4. Switch over to the iPhone and tap "Send"
  5. Tap "Contacts" and select the contacts that you want to share
  6. Tap "Send" when ready
  7. Lastly, choose the desired transfer method. You can select "Generate QR Code" and scan the code with the Meizu MX3, or you can tap "Receive" on your Android device and enter the generated code
