Create a Contact:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Contacts
- Access the All Contacts tab
- Tap + and if necessary, select an account
- Enter the contacts name, phone number, and other details in the proper fields
- Tap Done and the contact will be saved
Import / Export Contacts:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Open Contacts
- Tap Menu > Import / Export
- Choose to Import from storage, Import from SIM or Export to storage
Add a Contact to Speed Dial:
NOTE: To add a contact to speed dial you can either Star (favor) the contact within the Contacts app, or use the Direct Dial widget.
- Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
- Go to Widgets
- Find, then drag > drop the Direct Dial widget on top of the home screen
- At the contacts list pop-up, select a contact to associate with the widget
- Repeat the steps above to add as many Direct Dial widgets as you need
NOTE: Direct Dial widgets can be organized in folders on the home screen by dragging > dropping them on top of another, similar to app shortcuts.
Delete a Contact:
- Open Contacts
- Access the All contacts tab
- Select the desired contact and tap Edit
- Tap menu > delete > OK
Create a New Caller Group:
- Open Contacts and access All contacts
- Tap Add in the lower-right corner
- Under Groups, tap Group name
- Tap Create a new group and enter the groups name
- Tap OK to confirm and press Back to save
Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:
- Open Contacts
- Go to All Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact you want to add to the group
- Tap Edit
- Tap Group name under Groups and select an existing group
- Tap Back
View and Clear the Call Log:
- On the home screen, tap Phone
- Tap Menu > Call history
- Select a call log entry and tap Details for more information
- To clear the call log, go to Call history, tap Menu > Clear call log
