Back Up App Data:

  1. Open the apps drawer on the home screen
  2. Access “Settings”
  3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal”
  4. To back up settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and account data to your Google account, tap “Back up my data”
  5. To allow your account to restore app data automatically upon reinstalling apps, enable “Automatic restore”

NOTE: Application data will be automatically restored once you sign in with your Google account for the first time, or after a factory reset.

Back Up Contacts:

  1. Go to the “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “Accounts”
  3. Tap the account you want to sync contacts with
  4. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

NOTE: The contacts backed up using this method will be restored automatically when signing in with your Google backup account for the first time or after a factory reset.

Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the BLU Vivo Air LTE and PC
  2. Swipe the “Notification” bar down and enable “Media sync (MTP)” if necessary
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC and locate the media files stored on your phone
  4. Copy the files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the PC
  5. After the transfer is complete, click the “Mass storage device” icon in the system tray and eject the phone storage
  6. You can now safely disconnect the smartphone from the USB connector

Restore Media Files From a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the BLU Vivo Air LTE to the PC via USB
  2. Make sure “Media sync (MTP)” is enabled on the phone
  3. Open an Explorer window on the computer and locate the media file backups
  4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the directories they originate from (“Media” folder etc.)
  5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
